The belwali leaves are planted in the field. They are also shrinking. Beval leaves have suffered 50 to 75 percent damage. Farmers say that 30 to 35 percent of the crops of brinjal, cucumber, gourd, cabbage, tinda, tomato, carrot, radish, spinach, coriander, fenugreek and peas etc. have been damaged. Due to the bitter cold, a sheet of snow has been spread on the crops in the fields.

There is severe cold in many places in Madhya Pradesh. Crops have come under the grip of frost due to drop in temperature in Bakswaha of Chhatarpur in MP. The condition of crops is also getting worse in Rajasthan. Here the temperature has reached minus. Coriander, mustard and other crops are getting damaged in Jodhpur. Farmers say that there is a possibility of recording a decline in crop production up to 50 percent. The crops on which the sheet of ice is frozen. They are getting more damage.
This is how farmers should protect crops
Farmers need to take steps to avoid cold and frost. Irrigating crops at regular intervals will not affect frost. The surrounding temperature will also drop by 3 to 4 degree Celsius. The temperature is also controlled by smoking around the field. At the same time, covering the crops grown in the nursery or field with plastic also brings down the temperature. Due to this the crops do not die due to frost. Sulfur can also be sprayed in the field after consulting an agricultural expert.
